Responsibilities: + Administer and interpret diagnostic evaluations for cognitive ability and academic achievement + Prepare recommendations regarding the evaluations and services for students + Interpret adaptive, and social-emotional/behavior rating scales + Report evaluation data and observations for students who have been referred and/or classified to the committee on special education + Consult with parents, teachers and staff about educational interventions and/or management strategies that can be utilized at home and at school to assist the child in attaining academic progression + Participation on a building level Student Support Team (SST), offering guidance within a framework of a multi-tiered system of support + Serve as CSE/CPSE Chairperson.
