Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinic & Infusion

PRN; Shift Varies

The Registered Nurse will support the Oncology team by assisting with patient visits, treatment planning, and follow-up coordination in the Oncology Clinic, as well as providing direct infusion therapy and supportive care in the Outpatient Infusion Center. This includes patient assessments, medication administration (including chemotherapy/biotherapy), patient education, documentation, and care coordination in accordance with evidence-based practice and professional standards.

Requirements:

Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.

Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. 

ONS and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required to be completed before completion of orientation.

Oncology Certified Nurse required within two years of hire.

Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience in specialty preferred.
