PRN Float - Residential Support Professional
Salary: $30 / Hour The Residential Support Professional will provide direct care and support to individuals residing in group homes operated by Loudoun County MHSADS. This role is part of a PRN float pool, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a diverse population, including individuals with developmental disabilities and those in recovery from substance use disorders. The Residential Support Professional will work alongside county-employed staff to ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Responsibilities: + Deliver person-centered support and care to residents in a group home setting + Collaborate with county staff to implement care plans and daily routines + Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all residents + Support residents with daily living activities and therapeutic goals + Ensure compliance with all county and state regulations + No transportation responsibilities; county staff handle all resident transport Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, human services) and at least one year of relevant experience OR + A minimum of four years of related experience without a degree + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Must be at least 18 years of age + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Schedule: + PRN (as-needed) + 12 hour shifts + All shifts available (day, evening, overnight) + Minimum of one shift per week guaranteed; up to three shifts per week may be available based on scheduling needs Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
