You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system. **Job Description:** At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Credit Portfolio Manager is responsible for analyzing, underwriting, and negotiating credit decisions for standards Private Wealth Management (PWM) credit requests submitted by Private Wealth and Lending Advisors. This position will serve on the First Line of Defense and will analyze new Private Wealth Credit and underwrite new or renewed credit exposure. The role will gather information and preform in-depth research to identify, quantify, and mitigate underwriting risk inherent to extending the bank’s capital. This role will be expected to develop strong working relationships with client management, internal teammates, credit officers, and other bankers. **Primary Responsibilities** + Reviews standard Private Wealth transactions against Regions' credit standards, validates the appropriate risk rating, and recommends credit decision with some autonomy along with oversight from Senior Portfolio Managers and management + Develops a strong working knowledge of loan structuring for PWM credit products and PWM client credit needs + Prepares credit packages for new and renewed debt products including performing credit underwriting, analyzing financial statements and projections, utilizing financial models, determining appropriate risk rating, and identifying and mitigating credit risks + Monitors and manages the credit exposure within Regions' Private Wealth portfolio and identifies opportunities for exposure reduction or new credit opportunities with some guidance from Senior PMs and management + Conducts ongoing portfolio monitoring and servicing activities + Develops a strong working knowledge of and ensures compliance with internal bank PWM, commercial loan policy, and consumer loan policy, credit risk appetite, and external regulatory requirements + Assesses risk issues using standard procedures and makes sound decisions This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field + Three (3) years of experience in commercial underwriting **Preferences** + Commercial or Private Wealth management underwriting experience + Knowledge of both Consumer and Commercial Loan Products and Compliance issues + Prior experience with the Individual Rating Model in Moody’s Risk Analyst (MRA) + Successful completion of Moody’s online credit training or other major corporate credit training program **Skills and Competencies** + Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines + Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Strong attention to detail + Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills **Position Type** Full time **Compensation Details** Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. **Job Range Target:** **_Minimum:_** $71,443.35 USD **_Median:_** $94,824.00 USD **Incentive Pay Plans:** This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan.
