Your New Role:
As a Staff, Privacy Management – Projects you will support large scale privacy compliance projects, lead privacy project workstreams or initiatives and manage privacy training deployments. You will partner closely with functional teams in Legal, Technology, and various WBD business units across the company to operationalize new privacy regulations, implement new processes required to mitigate legal risk, and develop and deploy privacy training to our global workforce.
Your Role Accountabilities:
PRIVACY PROJECTS
Project manage privacy workstreams and initiatives
Manage end-to-end workstreams on large scale compliance efforts e.g. CPRA
Design and execute projects for smaller initiatives from inception to delivery
Update detailed project plans, action logs, risk and issue logs, budgets
Collaborate with product teams, data engineers, brands and compliance teams to drive change
Support large scale privacy compliance projects
Subject matter expert on privacy processes for technology and business teams
Support Sr. Director with the planning, design and running of effective workshops
Partner with privacy lawyers to document processes and training materials
Create project deliverables
Manage project forums and working sessions
Act as privacy process and tools subject matter expert for testing efforts
Manage Privacy Training Initiatives
Create and manage the privacy training roadmap for Global Privacy Services
Work with SMEs to develop training appropriate to the respective learning initiative/audience
Represent Global Privacy Services in WBD Learning Team initiatives and roadmaps
Represent Global Privacy Services in larger Enterprise & Technology Training Initiatives
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Detailed knowledge of privacy laws and regulations globally such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
2+ years project management experience
Familiarity with diverse project management methodologies and tools
Experience managing project workstreams end-to-end
Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures and guidelines
Previous experience working on compliance or legal initiatives
Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills, able to quickly build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Project)
Ability to work onsite at the Atlanta Techwood office 3 times per week
MUST be able to work WITHOUT Visa Sponsorship now or in the future for this role (includes OPT)
Atlanta based candidates will be a priority to consider for this position. Relocation is not approved for this role.
Not Required but preferred experience:
MBA or Privacy Certification (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, etc.)
Over 1 year of experience in entertainment or media.
Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services
Experience working in a national or global company
Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
