Privacy Operations & Policy Implementation - Support day-to-day privacy operations and ensure consistent implementation of privacy policies and practices across the organization.Data Subject Rights Management - Coordinate intake, triage, and fulfillment of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in compliance with global privacy regulations.Privacy Technology Management - Administer and optimize privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust), including configuration, workflow design, and reporting.Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) - Conduct and review PIAs for internal projects and external offerings, ensuring privacy risks are identified and mitigated.Incident Response Support - Assist in privacy-related incident response, documentation, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.Compliance Documentation - Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs) and other regulatory documentation to support audit readiness.Regulatory Monitoring & Implementation - Track changes in global and AP privacy laws and help operationalize updates within business processes.
What we are lookingBachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Information Security, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or legal operations. Strong understanding of AP privacy legal frameworks and global data protection regulations. Experience with privacy management platforms (preferably OneTrust). Bilingual proficiency in English (required) and Mandarin (preferred). Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP) is a strong advantage. Legal background or in-house counsel experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. Familiarity with cybersecurity and data governance concepts. About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Privacy Operations Specialist to join our growing team, supporting the development and execution of privacy operations across the Asia Pacific (AP) region. This role is ideal for candidates with a legal background, in-house counsel experience, and a passion for operational excellence in data protection and privacy compliance.
