Chronos Operations, LLC is seeking a Privacy Analyst II with a background in cybersecurity and privacy compliance for the Army Materiel Command (AMC), Chief Information Office (CIO). This role is responsible for independently conducting privacy assessments, developing and implementing privacy policies, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities Assist in the investigation and remediation of privacy incidents and breaches. Develop, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, and standards to reflect regulatory changes and organizational needs. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and standards. Conduct gap analyses to ensure new policies and procedures align with evolving regulatory requirements. Work with security teams to ensure that technical controls for data protection, such as encryption and access controls, are implemented effectively. Maintain documentation for privacy notices, records of processing activities, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate cross-functionally to remediate breaches and ensure compliance. Track and report privacy metrics, trends and compliance status. Deliver privacy training awareness programs tailored to different departments and roles. Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to ensure the program adapts to evolving security challenges. May supervise others. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree or bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. 5+ years of experience in privacy, information security, or compliance roles. 3+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity role. Certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) is highly desirable and preferred. Must have active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS with SCI eligibility Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Possess comprehensive knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations. Possess the ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and integrity. Strong understanding of privacy frameworks and standards. Knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management. Knowledge of privacy risk assessment methodologies, audit processes and compliance reporting. Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability. Good work ethic and active desire to learn. Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to travel up to 10%.
