Print Services Specialist
Job Title: Print Services Specialist Location: Owings Mills, MD Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm est Pay: $20.86/hr Essential Functions: • Collaborate closely with print center team members to meet customer goals with a focus on quality and timely delivery • Operate and maintain digital production printing equipment • Perform finishing tasks including cutting, folding, laminating, binding, inserting, and booklet making • Receive, schedule, prioritize, and process incoming print job requests • Update job tickets and tracking tools within customer systems • Communicate with customers to clarify or resolve job issues and escalations • Conduct quality checks during and after print production • Prepare completed jobs for delivery • Track and coordinate the movement or replacement of office equipment • Maintain inventory and distribute printing supplies • Respond to equipment issues by coordinating with service technicians • Index and organize electronic materials for digital output • Perform basic maintenance on all print center equipment Skills: • Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods (6–7 hours/day) • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) • Intermediate MS Office skills including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, sorting/filtering data, graph creation, and file embedding • Ability to move data between Word and Excel and import/export information • Familiarity with web, internet, and intranet tools • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment • Professional demeanor and strong teamwork orientation • Ability to develop or update work processes or templates as needed Experience: • Minimum of 2 years relevant print services or production experience • Experience with digital printing, finishing equipment, and production workflows preferred Education: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Post-secondary technical training or related experience preferred • Additional certifications or credentials may influence compensation Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
