Job Title: Print Production Level 1 Location: Gardena, CA Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: Monday thru Friday 10 am - 7 pm Pay: $24.49 - $26.88 Essential Functions: Deliver basic contracted customer requirements, including document assembly and finishing Serve as point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, inserters, laminators, hole punchers) Operate basic office equipment (printer, copier, fax) Apply asset tags to office equipment and update database Track, coordinate, and update moves, adds, or changes of office equipment assets Clean and maintain office equipment as needed Process and distribute incoming/outgoing faxes; log for billing purposes Log incoming packages and other accountable mail Process basic forms and update information using a PC Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product Collect and submit meter reads Maintain supply inventory and distribute as required Problem-solve basic issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements Perform quality inspection before, during, and after production runs Sort and scan hardcopy materials or other mediums for digital use Collect data and respond to print/copy equipment issues, contacting service personnel as needed Operate low- to mid-speed printers and copiers Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs Track and store jobs for customer reuse, including file backup Perform file/document conversion using standard software Perform operator maintenance on equipment Maintain reporting logs and billing information Provide mail delivery and courier duties as requested Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment safely Skills: Basic computer skills, including PC functions (keyboard, mouse, file management) Functional knowledge of MS Office (Excel for reporting, Outlook for communication) Ability to send/receive emails, open/save files, and perform data entry Web access and browsing skills, including sending documents to preconfigured printers Basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages) Demonstrated business maturity and professionalism Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment Post–high school technology training or experience preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Education verification required Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
