Position Profile

The Field Representative I provides operational support in a fulfillment center, handling high-volume printing, inserting, copying, shipping/receiving, and mail distribution. This role also includes equipment maintenance, quality control, and white-glove mail handling. The position operates in a multi-shift environment, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities Print & Mail Operations Operate high-volume continuous feed or cut sheet printing equipment. Perform inserting tasks using high-speed commercial inserters. Handle copying, binding, finishing, and quality control of print jobs. Sort, distribute, and apply postage to incoming/outgoing mail and faxes. Assemble and sort individual mail pieces by hand for USPS mailing. Equipment Maintenance & Support Maintain and troubleshoot copier and related equipment. Clear paper jams and report technical issues. Maintain daily meter and service logs. Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Ship and receive products and supplies. Maintain inventory records and supply levels. Use equipment such as shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, bindery tools, and postage meters. Customer Service & Administrative Support Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate service calls. Deliver completed jobs to designated locations. Perform filing, archiving, and document purging. Set up meeting and conference rooms as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2–3 years of related work experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and minimum auto insurance coverage required. Experience in high-production print environments preferred. Skills & Abilities Knowledge of copier and related equipment. Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures. Basic electronics knowledge preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Working Conditions Exposure to copier/fax noise, toner, and varying temperatures. Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional overtime, including nights and weekends. Potential exposure to weather when moving between buildings.
