As a Principal Technical Specialist in Nokia’s Network Automation team, you will leverage your expertise in IP network management and protocols like SNMP, NetConf, and gNMI to develop and test carrier-grade automation solutions, collaborate with passionate professionals on high-impact projects, and contribute to shaping the future of network management in a flexible, innovative environment.

You have:

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8-10 years of work experience.Experience in testing design, writing test cases, raising defects, verifying fixes, patches & enhancements.Strong in test automation; including GUI automation (Selenium, JavaScript, html5, Mocha) and script development (shell/PERL/python)Experience in technologies like K8S, ELK, Prometheus, Kafka, Docker and databases like Postgres DBKnowledge of network management (EMS/NMS) concepts and basic protocols like SNMP, Netconf/Restconf, GNMI etc.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.In-depth Understanding of IP Networking (Routing & Switching) is must.Work with cross-functional agile teams in designing and developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to refine technical requirements.Develop and maintain  solid automation pipelines for cross functional use casesWork on developing simulations at network scale.Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.Contribute to challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology, working alongside some of the industry’s brightest engineers.
