Principal Technical Program Manager - IAM

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Identity and Access Management, you will lead a portfolio of complex, multi-functional technology programs that will improve firm-wide security and experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, technology  teams and risk and control stakeholders. Your advanced analytical reasoning, problem solving, and organizational skills will enable you to break down business, technical, and operational objectives into actionable plans, and work teams through execution, while navigating through ambiguity and driving change.  With demonstrated technical fluency, you will effectively manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals. Your exceptional communication and influencing abilities will foster productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective risk management. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development of new technology solutions, policies and processes, shaping the future of our technology landscape.

Job responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaborationOversee a portfolio of complex technology program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocksFoster strong relationships, transparent communication, and effective decision making with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction, facilitating problem solving, and ensuring beneficial outcomes for the firmGuide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluencyChampion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology programs in large organizationsExperience managing a portfolio of technology programs and the teams that oversee themDemonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutionsAdvanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectivesProven ability to lead transformational programs, manage dependencies, and adapt to change in high-pressure, shifting environmentsProven ability to learn new technology areas and quickly apply those learnings to effective program planning and deliveryAdvanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectivesOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated success communicated across teams, stakeholders and senior leaders 

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Financial industry experience, including experience managing regulatory and compliance requirements like SOX, SOC and PCI, preferredComplex software implementation and software/infrastructure implementation experience preferredIdentity and Access Management (IAM) domain knowledge and experience preferred
