Your day at NTT DATA
As a Principal Networking Technical Architect at NTT DATA, your deep technical expertise will be crucial in transforming complex business requirements into robust network solutions. Your day will involve creating technology roadmaps that align with strategic direction, business requirements, and resource constraints.

You will lead the analysis and development of long-term strategic plans to ensure our network capacity meets current and future demands. You'll partner with clients as a trusted technical advisor, providing pre-sales support and crafting solutions that meet their specific needs and objectives.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you'll design comprehensive solutions from the ground up, including physical domains, networking protocols, cloud services, and hardware. You will drive the development of technical specifications, ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery, and oversee proof of concept (POC) initiatives.

Your role will involve producing detailed technical design documents, developing pricing formats, and creating network diagrams. You'll be instrumental in influencing the sales team, managing client engagements, and ensuring technical solutions align with organizational capabilities and client needs.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:A deep understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security.Proficiency in routing and switching, wireless networks, and IP addressing.Knowledge of IoT, big DATA, network management, quality of service, virtualization, and cloud computing.Familiarity with key vendor subscription models such as Cisco EA 3.0.Professional experience in software development, systems design and deployment, or networking and infrastructure within a large-scale technology services environment.Experience in project management methodologies and network management, including fault and performance management systems.Extensive client engagement skills and technical consulting abilities.The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
