Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems provides an excellent opportunity for a Principal Systems Administrator – Infrastructure Automation/Maintenance Sys Admin (25-317) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This role, located at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, is crucial in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key part of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC offers a layered missile defense capability that provides an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to enhance overall performance. Furthermore, C2BMC is a vital part of all ground and flight tests, which verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system.
The candidate will work on the Global Infrastructure team and assist in maintaining and supporting a hyperconverged infrastructure. They will primarily work with multiple operating systems and specific development toolsets.
Essential Functions:
Experience with projects that plan and schedule multiple groups in building out the construction of labs, equipment, including:RackSpacePowerExperience with adding engineering rigor to the process for the Network Engineers, System Admins, and cyber in support of projects and milestonesExperience in working with CM to ensure all processes are being met and capturedUnderstanding of System Administration roles in a customer-premises cloud environmentKnowledge of Network Engineering roles in supporting Cloud-based solutions/implementationsCurrent Linux certification to fulfill the DoD computing environment requirementPrevious experience working in Agile Software Development organizations using the SAFe frameworkBasic Qualifications:

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
