Mission Systems Category Management Team is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, reporting to the Category Manager. This position has exposure at the enterprise level and is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers. This position can be worked remote with a preference in NC, SC or IL (Rolling Meadows).
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates, and contract dates, using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) toolsLead supplier issue management, prioritization, expeditingFacilitates Supplier Production Readiness Reviews (SPRR), Supplier Business Reviews (SBR)Assist with Enterprise Strategic/Sourcing Agreements (LTPA/LTSA/EA/OA)Drives cost reduction/mitigation effortsCompletes quarterly supplier assessments for critical and strategic suppliers (SAMS)Collects supplier rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirementsAnalyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurementsReports status to affected programsDevelops relationships with supplier personnel for quick responseAbility to travel to supplier sites periodically (10%)Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field; Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field.US CitizenshipEligible to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearancePreferred qualifications:
Experience leading multiple teams at onceExperience coaching to implementing change with demonstrated resultsExperience hosting executive level business/performance reviewsSAP experienceCables & Connectors experienceEngineering or technical degreeSalary Range: $82,900.00 - $123,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
