NG Space is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Scrum Master proficient is implementing agile practices to support accelerated performance through incremental value delivery. The Scrum Master will guide, coach, mentor, and educate the team as it improves Agile practices. The individual is responsible for:
Ensuring the goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the scrum team as well as possible;
Finding techniques for effective product backlog management;
Ensuring the product owner knows how to arrange the product backlog to maximize value;
Assessing and measuring team metrics for continuous improvement opportunities
Facilitating scrum events as requested or needed.
The Scrum Master will help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. This position will support Payload and Ground Systems Division, Remote Sensing Program (RSP) Business Unit out of Linthicum, MD.
While not all positions will require a clearance to start, all positions are contingent on the candidate’s ability to obtain and hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
Principal Scrum Master: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or a Ph.D. with 0 years of experience
Sr. Principal Scrum Master: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or a Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience
Must have a minimum of 3 years working as Scrum Master
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills
Proven skills facilitating events, conversations, and improvements
Demonstrated experience of practical application of agile principles, practices and methods, particularly Scrum
Working knowledge of Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
Industry standard Scrum Master certification Master (such as PSM I or CSM)
Ability to take ownership of difficult challenges
Familiar with Software Development Processes and Practices
US Citizenship
No clearance required to start, but must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI
Preferred Qualifications
Computer Science or STEM degree
Experience developing software
Proficiency administering Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00Salary Range 2: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
