This is an opportunity to join the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) business in the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) Mission Area as a Principal Specialist for THAAD LM contracts. These are high visibility, critical programs for Raytheon Technologies and our customers. As a member of the finance team, responsibilities will include the day-to-day execution of the program which include but not limited to program start up activities, performing detailed financial analysis to help define and understand monthly variances to budget and the EAC position. The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a desire to learn and be challenged, the ability to work on a variety of tasks, and the ability to interact with a variety of team members and management levels. This exciting position will provide an opportunity to work on a program from the ground up, work on a unique program, perform estimates at completion, variance analyses, and utilize other metrics and tools used in the successful support of the program. **What You Will Do** + Aid in establishing, analyzing and loading the initial baseline within given targets + Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems + Prepare and support monthly & quarterly financial deliverables (CDRLs, VARs, BCRs, EACs, Review packages etc) + Support Ad Hoc Tasks & Analysis as required **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience + Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) + Experience with SAP accounting system / Standard Business Warehouse reports and/or similar reports **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience with current Raytheon financial tools/systems: SAP Achieving Process Excellence (APEX), Business Warehouse, Program Management Excellence (PMX) Tool Suite, Process Re-invention Integrating Systems for Manufacturing (PRISM), EDIT+, Dolphin AP workflow, Winshuttle + Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word) + Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload + Must be independent and self-motivated + Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines + Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve + Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures + Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment + Excellent verbal and written communication skills **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
