Position Overview: Hologic is seeking a Principal Solutions Analyst, Global IT Quality Solutions to join our Quality, Regulatory, and Product Life Cycle Management Systems Center of Excellence (COE). This role is pivotal in driving continuous process and system improvements across our Divisional and Corporate Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering Services globally. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, Engineering Services, Supply Chain Leadership, Research & Development, and Information Services, to lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational success and worldwide growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Quality leadership to prioritize initiatives and develop business cases for projects that deliver measurable value. Manage and communicate the IT PMO Portfolio for Quality systems. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for solution architectures supporting Quality processes. Document and analyze current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) business workflows, including roles, responsibilities, master data management, and governance frameworks. Develop and maintain a comprehensive Solutions Portfolio tailored to Quality needs. Identify and challenge outdated processes and policies to streamline the Quality business experience. Collaborate with technical and business partners to design, deploy, and standardize solutions that optimize the supply chain, improve internal processes, and align with strategic business goals. Oversee a portfolio of deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality results aligned with project plans. Provide expertise in enterprise technologies such as: Enterprise Quality Management (EQMS), Enterprise Document Management (EDMS), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), fostering alignment across business functions and geographies.Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Quality Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., Oracle Agile PLM/eQMS or similar technologies). Strong knowledge of core Quality, Regulatory, and PLM functions. Proficiency in business process analysis, solution design, and system implementation. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to document and communicate processes effectively. Adaptive communication and collaboration skills to work independently or within a team environment. Demonstrated ability to interact with executive Quality business leadership. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Experience resolving complex business and technical challenges. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Project Leadership and Delivery: Demonstrated success managing multiple deliverables and adhering to project timelines. Familiarity with General Project Management processes, IT PMO processes and portfolio management.Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Quality Management, Business Management, or a related field (preferred). A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and supporting Quality systems. Experience in the medical device or regulated industries is highly preferred.Physical Requirements:
This role involves:
Sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting/moving of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and hazardous materials. Compliance with safety protocols, including wearing safety shoes with impact and compression protection. Potential exposure to blood or other biological materials. Travel to various Hologic locations globally as required.The annualized base salary range for this role is $132,000 to $220,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
