Salesforce’s Public Sector MuleSoft Solution Engineering team are looking for a dedicated and motivated solution engineer to join our team, which is instrumental in driving growth and success in our government and not for profit business. You will be responsible for presenting Salesforce’s integration, analytics and automation solutions to prospects and customers while handling all technical objections in the sales cycle. Through carefully planned discovery with a variety of stakeholders you will uncover the specific business requirements and value drivers that make this a compelling and transformative project. Working with the extended sales team you will help to develop a differentiated solution, demonstrate this to the customer, and address any questions and concerns they may have. During this process you will build impactful relationships with your customers and strive to become their trusted advisor!

Work with government and not-for-profit organisations to understand their challenges and goals through focused discovery sessions and workshopsBuild and present customised product demonstrationsExpertly present and articulate the business value of your proposed solution to business managers and executivesWork as a team and contribute; learning and sharing new knowledgeManage multiple customer engagements concurrentlyBe self motivated, flexible, and proactiveWillingness and flexibility to travel occasionally

What you’ll need to be successful:

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on capturing requirements and use cases, developing a solution and articulating business valueOutstanding presentation and demonstration skills with a focus on storytellingAbility to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problemsExperience of working across a range of industries and be able to understand the current landscape and typical challenges and opportunities.Due to the nature of this role, Australian Citizenship is necessary.

Preferred Skills:

Australian Citizenship Required Experience in a comparable pre-sales positionFederal and/or Not-For-Profit industry experience.Experience with Integration and/or Data Solutions, with MuleSoft experience preferred.Analytics and Agentics experience would be a significant advantage.Business Analysis and Business case/ROI construction
