C.H. Robinson is looking for a Principal Solution Architect to support the RMS Account team in discovery, solution design, implementation of Global Core Process Standards as well demonstrating the impact that process redesign will have upon the account. Key activities include leading discovery sessions and process assessments, proposal creation, and internal cost impact assessments. You will work directly with and build relationships with an existing customer and multiple groups internal to C.H. Robinson, including, but not limited to the Customer Success team, Customer Account Service Delivery Team, and Technology and AI teams. This role is designed for someone with a vast and detailed knowledge of RMS internal technology and processes and will have a tremendous impact on the sustainable growth of account profitability and adherence/alignment with Global Core Process Standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Designs and delivers solutions aligned to the desired customer outcomes, accountable to wins and losses as well as planned profitability
Advises customer on their Supply Chain and Operations strategy and work with them to identify, prioritize and implement next generation solutions
Leverages technology, automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
Leads cross-functional Team for Continuous Improvement roadmap development and implementation, AI development/deployment, and inter-partner strategic initiatives with Customer and multiple external partners.
Develops comprehensive solutions and leads the strategic direction.
Ensures that the new solutions are implementable in current CHR technology and operations capabilities
Proactively identifies risks and solutions that could affect process improvement and process design, to ensure a correct solution design
Serves as a subject matter industry expert in areas of transportation strategy, advanced modeling, and technology application
Understands emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customer; leverages understanding to expand relationships with own customers
Accountable for the creation, architecture, and development of future state value propositions and delivers these back to the customer and account teams.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 8 years of previous experience in global logistics, technology, or supply chain consulting
Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically and internationally)
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Extensive CHR systems knowledge
Broad understanding of Global Forwarding and customs principles
Extensive previous Customer Service experience
Broad supply chain knowledge with an understanding of how transportation enables desired outcomes for various functional teams in an organization
Experience in global logistics, technology, and supply chain consulting
Strong technical aptitude of Navisphere platform and Robinson Managed Solutions technical offerings.
Deep understanding of transportation management systems and customer solutions
Experience working with and presenting to executive-level stakeholders and influencers
Experience strategic planner, demonstrated systems thinking and service delivery experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs, including analytical expertise using the tools
Supply chain certifications (CSCP or CLTD)
Proven track record of developing and growing relationships, including senior leaders
Effective and flexible communication skills, with the ability to communicate with senior leaders
Ability to tailor a message to all levels of an organization (boardroom to receiving dock)
Ability to create presentations that convey a compelling message
Ability to lead and facilitate meetings
Business writing skills to facilitate proposals, RFI/RFP’s and business presentations
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills/background with strong process orientation
Ability to lead/support analytical projects
Detail oriented
Time management skills for meeting deadlines and scheduling workflow
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and partner with sales reps across the enterprise
Understand business process and supply chain technology platforms (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS, MRP)

Compensation Range
$102,100.00 - $170,000.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
