Our team provides Quality oversight by ensuring continuous monitoring of metrics and conformance to requirements during the development, implementation, integration, verification & validation phase of a program.
You will apply advanced technical skills and knowledge to assess and resolve technical problems, guide program teams to successful and compliant milestones and bolster a culture of technical excellence and mission assurance through our people with available mentoring, training, and opportunities for advancement based on performance. You will possess a strong academic foundation and experience in aerospace systems or engineering.
This is an “on-site” role in Forest, Mississippi
What You Will Do:
Interface with cross-functional teams (Chief Engineer, Integrated Product Teams, Software Development teams, and Security) as appropriate.You will participate in software design, development, integration, and test milestones.Conduct product and/or process evaluation activities in support of continuous improvement.Participate in software release process including checksum verifications.Participate in change control boards and ensure actions are tracked to completion.Peer Review software deliverables and documentation i.e., contractor and subcontractor deliverables (Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs), test procedures, requirements verification traceability.Interface with customer and Government Quality Assurance representatives in support of program, corporate, and third-party audits for AS9100 site certifications or assessments as needed.Participate or guide in the following;Corrective Action BoardsTeams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actionsTeams in support of CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) goalsDrive Software Quality objectives by influencing others regarding policies, practices and procedures.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years’ experience in the following areas;Working experience in ISO 9000 and AS 9100 Quality Management Systems.Working experience using the Microsoft Office 0365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote).Experience using the following skills;Problem solvingCritical technical assessmentLeadershipInterpersonal communication skillsMaking decisions, with limited supervisory interventionWorking on a TeamActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
