You will be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting), and maintenance with a focus on automation. Your role will be pivotal in driving the technology roadmap and ensuring timely project deliverables. **Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: + **Design, Development and Coding:** + Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum) + **Collaboration and Communication:** + Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions + **Testing and Debugging:** + Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting + **Maintenance and Support:** + Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues + **Deployment:** + Facilitate and support the software deployment process + Applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results + Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies + Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions + Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues **Required Experience:** + 8+ years of related experience; Certification is required in some areas **Required Qualifications:** + **Application Design:** Proven experience in designing large-scale applications + **Technical Leadership:** Experience owning the delivery as a tech lead and acting as a single point of contact for development and support + **Azure Cloud:** Working experience with Azure cloud services + **DevOps expertise:** Proficiency in Spring Boot/Java, Angular, React, Node, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, NGINX + **Troubleshooting:** Expertise in troubleshooting complex software problems and developing effective solutions + **Communication:** Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical details to various stakeholders **Desired Education** + Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science preferred **TCP Career Step Differentiator:** Expert in multiple programming languages and business processes and design/develops/codes for very complex suites of applications.
