We are looking for a **Principal Software Engineer** to join our team. You will be part of a dynamic and agile group dedicated to innovation by learning, exploring and building working code. **Responsibilities**
+ Proactively drive exploration and innovation within the team.
+ Lead the design and development in an agile way, prototype and iterate with stakeholders, deliver value iteratively through MVP releases.
+ Partner with appropriate stakeholders from multiple services and organizations.
+ Determine requirements for complex scenarios in changing ecosystem.
+ Leverages deep subject-matter expertise of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., product managers) to lead project plans, release plans, and work items.
+ Provides technical leadership for the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
+ Leads by example and mentors others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across the company.
+ Mentor engineers in the team by providing hands-on assistance, best practices, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years experience in significant technical leadership position.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,
+ Proven track record of delivering large software products.
+ Ability and eagerness to work across and partner with multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals.
+ Working with AI systems.
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $142,400 - CAD $257,500 per year.
