Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworksDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersAdvises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertiseServes as the function’s go-to subject matter expertContributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functionsInfluences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on data management concepts and 10+ years applied experience. Experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.Proven experience in designing and developing large scale data pipelines for batch & stream processingStrong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lake, ETL processes and Big Data technologies (e.g Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Airflow, Apache Kafka, Java, Open File & Table Formats, GIT, CI/CD pipelines etc. )Expertise with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data processing & engineering toolsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologistsDemonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scaleExperience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stabilityExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExtensive practical cloud native experienceExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
