This position, based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives.
C2BMC provides a layered missile defense capability that offers an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally, to improve overall performance. Additionally, C2BMC is a crucial part of all system ground and flight tests, which verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of the missile defense system.
The Global Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications program offers a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A key component is the Global Track Processing (GTP) team, which aims to deliver accurate global situational awareness through raw sensor data to the warfighter. The Software Engineer's primary role is to collaborate with the Global Track Processing software development team to design, develop, test, and explore innovative solutions for the Missile Defense program. Non-standard work hours may be required during critical events, and some travel might be necessary.

Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
