We are looking for a visionary principal engineer with a passion for building world-class data platforms and services. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of leading high-impact technical initiatives.
**Skillset Required**
+ 15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in **distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.**
+ Deep expertise in big data technologies such as **Apache Spark, Kafka,** and real-time analytics databases.
+ Mastery of cloud platforms like **AWS, Azure, or GCP** and their ecosystem of data services.
+ Strong understanding of data governance and security architecture.
+ Proven ability to drive major technical change and gain consensus across multiple teams and departments.
+ Exceptional **strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication** skills.
+ Ability to influence without authority and navigate highly ambiguous situations.
**WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON**
+ Define and own the multi-year technical roadmap for the data platform.
+ Lead the **architectural design for complex, cross-cutting initiatives** .
+ Evaluate and champion the adoption of emerging technologies and architectural patterns.
+ Establish and enforce **engineering best practices, design patterns, and quality standards.**
+ Mentor senior engineers and team leads, fostering the next generation of technical leaders.
+ Solve the most **challenging technical problems and act as the ultimate escalation point for critical production issues** .
+ Communicate complex technical concepts and trade-offs to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
