We’re searching for a Lehi, UT–based Principal Software Developer to join our Engineering team, so that we can continue delivering secure, scalable, and impactful solutions that improve safety and outcomes in healthcare. The Principal Software Developer will contribute across the stack—from backend services to frontend user interfaces—to help us design, build, and maintain modern web applications that serve healthcare professionals and organizations around the world. How You’ll Spend Your Time Designing and developing scalable web applications using Python and React to support secure, high-performing healthcare systems Building and consuming RESTful APIs in order to enable seamless integration across systems and services Collaborating with fellow engineers to architect new features and improve existing software Writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with ORMs like SQLAlchemy to ensure reliable and efficient data access Contributing to continuous improvement by enhancing development tools, practices, and workflows Conducting code reviews and applying secure coding practices to ensure quality and compliance Owning projects and features from concept through deployment, communicating regularly with peers and stakeholders What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having Senior-level experience in backend development using Python or comparable languages (Java, C#, PHP) Experience in frontend development with React or a similar JavaScript framework Proven success building full stack applications using Python (Flask) and React with TypeScript Deep knowledge of scalable web application architecture and secure coding practices Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a passion for iterative, continuous improvement A sincere interest in building mission-driven products that improve healthcare safety A knack for working collaboratively within a fast-paced, tight-knit engineering team Ability to commute to our Lehi, UT office 3 days a week
