Description In this role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of large, complex security initiatives across multiple organizations. The ideal candidate is a tenured program or business operations manager excited about innovations in technology, and has experience working with highly technical teams. You must have a long track record of successfully launching programs, preferably within a highly diverse environment with a broad technology set. As a tenured Principal Security Industry Specialist, you have a track record of diving deep into secrity program details, understanding technology capabilities and limitations, and can make high judgement decisions about how to handle stakeholder requests. You exhibit high proficiency and efficacy in core security program management skills such as managing granular details of a complex launch, negotiating across diverse teams of varying disciplines, and implementing mechanisms to scale repeatable processes. You have a track record of working with highly technical colleagues and teams. You have strong verbal communication skills, and can independently produce highly polished documents. You enjoy mentoring junior team members, and sharing your expertise with fellow colleagues. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $273,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
