What the day will look like The role is responsible for working with external and internal stakeholders to create new and improve existing data analytic solutions for clients. Key responsibilitie s include: + Ability to manage and deliver on client engagements that may include, but not limited to: + Captive Feasibility Studies; + Loss modelling and reserving; and + Risk quantification models. + Delivery of consulting services including presentation of insights and analytics to clients + Execution of tasks and projects at the allocated time and budget + Creation of tools and data analytics products from conception to rollout using prototyping and agile methodologies + Advocacy and training driving adopting of data analytics tools and data science products to the broader users + Documentation of thought leadership, RFPs and reports containing analytical insights. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Minimum 5 years in a role requiring autonomous development of data analytic products by programming + Actuarial Qualified – advantageous but not required + Experience working in a consultancy role + Experience in the general insurance industry + Additional qualifications and credentials in decision science methods, statistics, project management and software development are advantageous but not essential.
