Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Principal Project Engineer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Fulltime)

The Role

Lead and coordinate life sciences projects (API / Biotech and Formulations) from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Should have executed at least a Conceptual / Basic Design / Detailed Engineering project in Life Sciences industry. Implement best practices in project delivery for the success of assigned project. Monitor progress of work for Life science projects versus the schedule and coordinate between multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with industry standards.  Collaborate with clients to identify project goals, objectives, and key performance indicators to ensure on time delivery. Apply engineering principles to analyse and optimize processes within the life science industry to guide project activities and provide valuable insights to clients. Assist clients in navigating regulatory requirements and implementing best practices. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing. Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and timelines. Implement quality assurance processes as defined in project quality plans and overall organisational requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports to client to maintain high standards of excellence.
