Principal Program Manager, JP Insights, Growth, and UX

The JP Insights, Growth and UX team is seeking a Principal Program Manager to help us build and deliver the customer growth strategy for Japan. In this high impact role, you will leverage customer insights, data analytics, and market intelligence to unlock new customer segments. You will partner with top talent across the organization to bring transformative ideas to life. Specifically, the candidate will: 1. Partner with research/insights and data science team to identify JP unmet customer needs and pain points across key core shopping experiences. 2. Articulate, drive alignment, own, and deliver the Amazon JP customer growth strategy 3. Partner with multiple JP businesses (marketing, consumables, books, payments, events) to improve customer facing offerings 4. Evolve the tracking mechanisms to measure and track the quality and performance of the customer growth program. 5. Communicate progress to senior leadership, aligning leaders across organizations to accelerate progress. About the team The JP Insights, Growth and User experience team is embedded in the Japan Marketing organization. The team vision is to be the leading experts on Japanese online shopping behavior, empowering Amazon businesses with actionable insights, designs, and concepts that revolutionize the e-commerce experience in Japan and enable expansion. We are a strategic accelerator to drive the Japan vision by 1) creating and driving the customer strategy to increase the customer baseline, 2) serving as subject matter experts on key domains including customer research, UX design, and onsite merchandizing, and 3) functioning as an innovation incubator for JP specific needs. Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 7+ years of program or project management experience - 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
