The Creator team’s mission is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce creators and their content. We own the Associates and Influencer programs and brands across Amazon to ensure a cohesive experience, expand creators’ opportunities to earn through innovation, and launch experiences that reinforce feelings of achievement for creators. Within Creators, the Trust, Safety, and Support (TSS) team strives to improve the Amazon customer and creator experiences by identifying and implementing policy changes and investigating violations among our community. TSS is focused on four main functions for Creators: Application Review, Influencer Moderation, Creator Content Annotations, and Fraud Investigations.
We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented leader to oversee the strategy and implementation of our program policies. This is a highly visible position that requires a candidate with the proven leadership ability to “Think Big” by facilitating and creating policy improvements within the Trust, Safety, and Security team as well as the broader worldwide Creators team. This leader will work across geographies, business lines, and functions to innovate for creators. Successful candidates are leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of innovating and delivering results. You should have strong customer obsession with the ability to dive deep, strong data/analytical skills, a self-starter spirit, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
You must be a strong owner and influencer, and someone who can think beyond the way things have always been done. You also must be willing to travel 2-4x per year to India.
Key job responsibilities
- Monitor industry changes and trends, identify risk areas, and present policy recommendations to leadership. Work across business teams, TSS managers, and specialists to implement and monitor progress.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Create sustainable mechanisms in partnership with IN-based team, technical and product teams, and business partners. Monitor and develop new metrics for Application Review, Influencer Moderation, Creator Content Annotations, and Fraud Investigations.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence by reducing defects, while increasing innovation and automation. Tirelessly advocate for improvements to systems and processes that will benefit creators, including with our customer service partners. Own the process, tools, and mechanisms for change requests to be raised, evaluated, and concluded within SLAs.
- Drive complex business analysis that identifies patterns and opportunities to improve creator experience and drive growth in our creator population and quality of content. Identify and address customer and business pain points and process optimization opportunities by actively deep diving data and operational processes and working with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside of the Creator team.
- Partner globally and work across different global regions, including APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to solicit feedback and gain alignment.
- May have responsibility for 1-2 program managers.
