Principal Production Engineer
**Job Overview:** The Principal Production Engineer is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. The Principal Production Engineer tasked with solving complex Production-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. Reporting directly to a Construction Manager. The Principal Production Engineer responsible for leading a multidiscipline team of Production Engineers and as well as providing direct support to Construction Manager and Project Management Team (PMT). **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Provide technical expertise and leadership in production engineering activities, and ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and best practices + Review and approved Work Package prior issued to Fabrication/construction team + Develop and implement fabrication execution plans, schedules, and procedures in line with project requirements and consider resource constraints + Interface for multidiscipline-level requirements with key project personnel from various functions like Engineering, SCM, Quality, Cost control, Marine Operations, hook-up up etc. to meet priorities and schedule dates for project fabrication requirements + Manage inter / intra–functional interfaces at multidiscipline level for the fabrication portion of the project with minimal guidance + Chair the weekly project production meeting, managing the project’s weekly fabrication progress and productivity and ensure is within budget + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies and solutions for production optimization, cost reduction, and problem-solving + Lead design reviews, technical investigations, and engineering studies to support project objectives + Lead multidiscipline project constructability program effort for fabrication + Assist/support Construction Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for increased productivity, reduced waste, and enhanced quality + Monitor production performance, analyze key metrics, and assist/support Construction manager to implement corrective measures to ensure targets are met or exceeded + Contribute in Project Management Teams to develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and deliverables **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Bachelor’s Degree S1/D4 in Engineering (preferably in Civil, Offshore, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Shipbuilding Engineering + Minimum eight (8) years of experience in oil & gas and/or renewable energy fabrication and construction projects in major contractor or consultant + Excellent English written and verbal communication skills + Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas onshore / offshore construction industry + Strong knowledge of industry code and standards and best practices related to production processes and facilities project execution + Relevant training and/or certifications in Project Execution + Proven experience in the EPCI industry or a similar Engineering field + Proven track record in leading multidiscipline teams and managing large-scale projects + Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges + Understand the strategy to delivering multidiscipline fabrication efforts for complex projects, with multinational project team and customer + Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders + Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines \#LI-LD1 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
