About This Role:
As a Principal Product Manager Tech for Sponsored Brands Impressions-based strategies, you will work closely with engineering, science and UX to develop innovative solutions that enable advertisers to create digital advertising strategies optimizing for brand awareness, discovery and share of voice.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving and delivering experiences for our global advertisers and partners. You will have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver innovative solutions.
To thrive in this role, you will need a strong background in the Ad Tech domain (candidates without Ad Tech experience are not currently being considered), deep understanding of brand advertising, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
Bringing clarity and structure to ambiguity will be a key driver of success. This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on status, risks and planning.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities and write new proposals to help us drive new growth areas for our partners and advertisers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on fast-paced, challenging projects, experimenting with new possibilities and taking calculated risks.
- Define and create customer experience both in our API and through our Advertising Console.
- Develop product strategies, roadmaps, and detailed requirements to execute your vision.
- Work closely with engineering, design, operations, legal, customer service, and executive teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Leverage your analytical skills and work independently under tight deadlines.
- Throughout, you will internalize Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and live those into everyday practices to guide your programs to success.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- 8+ years of building digital advertising solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
