Principal Product Manager - Strategic Product Categories, Marketplace Recruitment & Dev
Define and drive the customer experience (CX) and selection strategy for strategic product categories in Amazon Marketplace, including high-ASP (Average Selling Price), heavy and bulky items, Everyday Essentials, and grocery. This role will lead the development and execution of innovative CX/services, work cross-functionally to ensure a compelling end-to-end customer journey, and drive the overall product/program roadmap for expanding Marketplace selection.

Key job responsibilities
· Develop and execute the CX and selection strategy for strategic product categories, including high-ASP, heavy and bulky, Everyday Essentials and grocery.
· Define and launch innovative services, such as insurance offerings for high-ASP and heavy/bulky product categories.
· Drive the overall product/program roadmap for identifying and adding new product selection in JP Marketplace.
· Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams (Tech, Science, Fulfillment, Account Management and Marketing teams) to execute on strategic initiatives.
· Analyze emerging trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and product development.
· Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of new strategies and services, continuously iterating based on data-driven insights.
· Present strategies and results to senior leadership, clearly articulating complex ideas.
· Learn and share best practices with teams outside of Japan. If the US/EU are achieving good results, you will be responsible for learning what is working and replicating it in Japan. If Japan achieves good results, you are expected to share our best practices and insights with other regions.
