About the Job

The Red Hat Cloud Partner Product Management team is seeking a Principal Product Manager to help bring Red Hat’s world-class products and services to the public cloud. In this role, you will shape how Red Hat delivers offerings through leading cloud marketplaces, partnering closely with product management, engineering and technical business development teams across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

You’ll help define and execute product and go-to-market strategies, collaborating with internal teams and cloud partners to deliver innovative, enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, driving cross-functional alignment and creating offerings that reach customers globally.

You will work out of our Boston, MA or Raleigh, NC offices on a hybrid schedule and must reside in a location where Red Hat is registered to do business.
 

What You Will Do

Gather insights from customers, partners and stakeholders to define needs and translate them into product strategy and roadmap for Red Hat’s public cloud offerings

Research competitive solutions—both commercial and open source—to inform positioning and enhance the value of our cloud portfolio

Prioritize and document requirements for new releases of cloud-based products

Partner with product and engineering teams across the portfolio to ensure offerings are cloud-ready, marketplace-compatible and easy for customers to consume

Support sales and marketing with technical collateral, including presentations, blogs, demos and other enablement resources

Review and refine documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity and alignment with customer needs

What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in enterprise software product management, technical marketing, or a similar product/customer-facing role

Background in infrastructure software, including operating systems, containers, private cloud and public cloud

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar hyperscalers

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Willingness to travel up to 10%

The salary range for this position is $131,420.00 - $216,870.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
