This position is needed to We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead Billing platform products. Our Billing platform enables customers to choose - pre-committed contract, subscription or pay-as-you-go.
This role will drive billing strategy, roadmap and execution of the billing platform. The focus will be to ensure that Twilio’s billing systems are scalable, flexible, and compliant, while unlocking growth. You will work with cross functional teams to drive large scale change to how customers consume Twilio products.>.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Own the product strategy and roadmap for all payments and billing infrastructure—subscription lifecycle, transaction flows, pay as you go, and invoiced customers, compliance, and more Partner with engineering to define product specifications, design features, and deliver new functionality to customers Drive cross-functional execution across Finance, Risk, GTM, Engineering, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly systems Define and deliver against outcomes—with a strong focus on metrics, speed, and business impact Partner across technical program management, IT, finance, legal, and support teams to ensure successful go-to-market for new product initiatives Iterate on the core billing and payments infrastructure in partnership with Finance, Sales, Support, and Engineering, balancing business needs with long-term platform scalability Partner with other Figma product teams to power new monetization efforts and unlock sales levers Drive planning and prioritization, defining and tracking key metrics, and work closely with engineers to define feature functionality and execute against the roadmap Engage with external customers and internal partner teams to gather product requirements and feedback through discussions, presentations, and preview programsQualifications

*Required:
8+ years of product management experience, ideally with billing/payment platforms for cloud products/services Passion and ability to decompose ambiguous problem areas, strong analytical skills, technical depth and customer-focused mindset Track record of delivering high-impact features from vision to specification to launch and managing multiple simultaneous projects across complex, cross-functional products at scale High ownership mindset: You bring urgency, challenge blockers, and know when to escalate or hold the line Deep payments fluency: You understand the strategy, incentives, and mechanics behind billing and payments—not just the technical components Vendor leadership: You’ve driven strategic outcomes with partners like Stripe, Zuora, tax tools, and compliance systems An excellent communicator, with experience presenting to cross functional stakeholders Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Maintain industry knowledge and enhance subject matter expertise, identify trends and changes in client and competitor behaviors, and keep abreast of changing regulatory requirements.Desired:

This role will be <remote, and based in British Columbia, Canada.The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in British Columbia. : $142, 800 CAD - $175,800 CAD
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
