Principal Product Manager, Amazon Freight
Description Be a part of the next exciting phase of Amazon’s transportation technology and business growth. Amazon Freight (AF) is building the next-generation of shipping services on top of our core transportation network. In this role as a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading strategy, innovation and development that ensures high-performance and quality in all aspects of freight movements. The scope is global and includes features that coordinate and optimize driver, shipper and yard operations, on-time performance, predictive disruption management, freight tracking visibility and all AI powered support intelligence. It involves coordinating core AF tech teams, as well as working with core Middle-Mile planning and execution systems to ensure a coordinated, cohesive and optimized experience for our shipper customers. Key job responsibilities As a Principal Product Mgr, you will lead development of features, internal tools and integrations to enable an operationally-intelligent and efficient sales workflow. You will coordinate with sales, operations, pricing and research teams to ensure tight integration between sales and operational systems. You will work with executive leaders, engineering, science and operations stakeholders to coordinate launches, process improvement, generate ideas, validate entitlement and then direct a path to launch. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader leading impactful large-scale projects, the buck will stop with you. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
