Are you ready to shape consumer experiences as a Principal Product Designer - UI/UX on Spectrum’s Self-Service Product and Platform team? In this role, you will design innovative products and features by collaborating with diverse teams and supporting features across multiple applications. You will also architect creative solutions and serve as a subject matter expert for various programs and systems.

Mentor and coach product designers on the team, guiding them through the design process, leading the work product, and helping them grow professionallyProvide strategic direction and influence on the overall customer experienceFind satisfaction in navigating complex design challengesWork in partnership with other cross-functional leaders to plan, prioritize, and scope work effortMake meaningful and impactful improvements to team processes and working agreementsProvide value to the team as both an individual contributor and team leaderWork on business impacting features that ladder up to the company’s vision and purposeWorking Conditions

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/related field, or equivalent real-world experienceExperience
10+ years of digital design experience5+ years of experience with basic prototyping tools (Figma, Invision, etc.)5+ years of experience with common interface tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc.)Skills
Demonstrated in-depth understanding of platform specific nomenclature and experience with creating highly detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications Expert knowledge of new design techniques and user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch Expert ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX workEffective client communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Demonstrated in-depth experience with planning and facilitating user research and usability testsDemonstrated in-depth understanding of UX best practices and UI and UX design skills via portfolio Expert ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously through effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when neededDemonstrated in-depth experience with project estimationAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyPreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
