And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Job overview and responsibilities
Lead moderate to complex projects with a focus on identifying future opportunities for revenue generation via evaluation of revenue management, strategies, systems and conduct analysis that helps in detecting trendsAssist to drive strategic direction into actionable activities by monitoring a group of analyst to ensure desired results are achieved Lead efforts to regularly update forecasts, identify revenue risks and opportunities and present findings to senior leadership in various forums Assist in cross functional department projects that require analysis and use of Revenue Management/Pricing data to help build understanding of the revenue impact of different strategiesMonitor and provide guidance to Revenue Management analysts in execution of initiatives and techniques to achieve optimal revenue performance in assigned regionProvide assistance in training, effective coaching and mentoring of new analysts, along with helping on recurrent training of existing analystsAssist analysts in the understanding and evaluation of revenue management performance and determining corrective action, where necessaryNOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50% of the time spent onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.

Bachelor’s or relevant airline experience requiredMinimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s DegreeStrong working knowledge of Excel, SQL & PowerPointStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsGood communication skillsDemonstrated leadership abilitiesAbility to multi-taskMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Business Administration, Mathematics, Econ degrees 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s Degree Proficient with databases including Ticketing & Flown data, MIDT & ARCKnowledge of Gemini and Airprice systemsThe base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
