Principal Portfolio Product Marketing Manager

Align go-to-market strategies with customer needs, challenges, and business priorities.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
 

What You Will Do:

Work with teams across functions to develop marketing assets (e.g., sales kits, presentations, videos, guides, blogs) that highlight our portfolio’s unique value in the market.Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify target personas, validate customer use cases, and shape messaging around key themes.Create customer-focused stories and use cases that clearly communicate the vision and value of our portfolio solutions.Define market sub-segments (e.g., personas, buying groups) and create targeted content for each opportunity.Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce compelling marketing assets such as presentations, solution briefs, web content, and sales plays.Work with partner teams to ensure consistent messaging and provide materials that partners can use in their outreach.Assist with customer meetings and executive presentations to articulate Red Hat’s portfolio strategy and offerings.

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Technology Management or related field and six (6) years of experience in job offered or related role.Must have five (5) years of experience working with sales and partner teams to develop sales and marketing content.Must have five (5) years of experience with: the enterprise software ecosystem, including competitive landscape, emerging market trends, and insights from key industry analysts; developing content tailored to different stages of the customer lifecycle, including awareness, consideration, decision, and retention; Simplifying and translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, customer-friendly language; and managing end-to-end marketing initiatives, including coordinating across teams and ensuring timely delivery of projects.Must have three (3) years of experience with: managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly technical environment; presenting to large audiences, senior leadership, and cross functional teams; and grasping new technologies, products, and concepts, particularly in a fast-evolving technical landscape.Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of the time to attend conferences and visit client sites and Red Hat offices. The salary range for this position is $192,213 - $260,180. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
