JOB DESCRIPTION

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and AI models and services in Python.Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring.Define technical standards, best practices, and patterns for machine learning and artificial intelligence development.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, data science, and data engineering teams.Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code deploymentReview and guide code contributions from other engineers to maintain quality and consistency.Contribute to backend systems developmentEnsure backend and ML systems meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.Mentor and guide engineers on ML engineering best practices.Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and processes to improve development and runtime efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

10+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or highly-related field.Extensive experience in Python-based ML engineering and backend development.Proven leadership in building, testing, and deploying ML models to production at scale.Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and MLOps tools.Ability to deep dive into individual components and systems, as well as understand the overall architecture of machine learning solutions.Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and container orchestration.Experience with large-scale data processing, streaming, and storage systems.Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
