Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Principal Maintenance Work Management & Master Data Management to be the subject matter expert on Maintenance Work Management focusing principally on Planning, Scheduling and Resource Co-ordination. The role will also be responsible for managing the E&M Master Data governance frameworks and systems with operations and IM and other stakeholders.
This role can be based in Chile (Santiago), Peru (Lima) or Brazil (Belo Horizonte) .There will be frequent travel required for this role.
Fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
Key role requirements:
Based on the Anglo Operating Model (AOM), define the detail requirements for maintenance planners and schedulers.Based on best practice principles ensure that the outcome of Planning and Scheduling at a site level is a 12-week plan which is fully resourcedEnsure that all sites have high quality rolling 52-week plan.Ensure plans reflect improvements in safety and address our standard of no repeats.Coach and mentor planners and schedulers to achieve the above outcomes.Review and audit / perform gap analysis on areas of improvement and adjust training and coaching accordingly.Collaborate with Reliability and Condition Monitoring experts to ensure Tactics and Service Strategies are relevant and work execution documents are of a high quality.Develop a CoP for Planning and Scheduling which shares best practices and addresses challenges to the process and systems.Develop a central pool of planners and schedulers, who can be deployed to operations as required.Understand bottlenecks to the discipline and work collaboratively with other disciplines as required to resolve.Facilitate a data governance framework that outlines the policies, roles, and responsibilities for managing master dataIdentify the different domains of master data within E&M (baseline asset tactics, refined asset tactics, specs, etc.)Assess the quality of existing master data, identifying inconsistencies, errors, and duplicates that need to be addressedDefine data standards, naming conventions, and rules for capturing, storing, and maintaining master data consistentlyAssign data ownership responsibilities to individuals or teams who are accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the master dataRefine processes for data creation, validation, maintenance, and archival, ensuring adherence to data governance policies and standardsDefine access controls and permissions to ensure appropriate data access and prevent unauthorized changes to master dataEstablish mechanisms for integrating master data across systems and applications to ensure data consistency and accuracy.QualificationsFormal Qualifications
Required: An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Desirable: A post graduate degree or diploma in Asset Management is highly recommended.
Technical skills / knowledge requirements:
10 – 15 years’ experience as a Planner / Scheduler at site level 5 of which should have been at the Superintendent Planning level.A demonstrated global expert in Work ManagementSignificant knowledge of field execution including practical experience as a planner and schedulerExperience with shutdown planningHighly competent in SAP PM and Materials Management, as well as PrometheusDeep understanding of Supply chain functions.Experience with major failure investigations.Good knowledge of design, execution, operational readiness, work management and maintenance supply processes.In addition to English proficiency, Portuguese and/or SpanishAdditional InformationWho We Are
