Principal IT Architect, New Tech Systems Strategy

**Key Responsibilities:**
**Technology Strategy Development:**
+ Develop and articulate a clear technology vision and strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.
+ Identify emerging technologies that could enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and add value to our systems and processes.
+ Evaluate new technologies for their potential application within the organization.
**System Architecture Design:**
+ Design robust and scalable systems architecture that supports business needs and integrates new technologies with existing infrastructure.
+ Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
+ Ensure that system architectures meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
**Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:**
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, business operations, product development) to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.
+ Collaborate with executive leadership to understand business challenges and define technology solutions.
+ Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
**Implementation and Integration:**
+ Lead the planning and execution of technology pilot programs and guide the full-scale implementations.
+ Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions to support strategic objectives.
+ Monitor and guide the integration of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
**Research and Innovation:**
+ Continuously research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
+ Champion a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and technologies.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technologies and iterate on strategies as needed.
**Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing:**
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical teams.
+ Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the organization’s technical capabilities.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
+ 10+ years of architecture experience across Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Solution Architecture and technology strategy
+ Proven expertise with Enterprise Architecture across multiple domains and end to end processes, such as Customer & Commercial Excellence, Quote to Cash or similar
+ Ability to partner with technical and business resources to identify target state and interim state solutions
+ Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.
+ Strong understanding of architecture methodologies and modeling techniques and familiarity with one or mode of key architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework or equivalent
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic thinking.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
**WE VALUE**
+ Proven expertise in Enterprise Applications in domains, such as Customer Experience, Commercial Experience, eCommerce, Marketing and associated processes with platforms like Salesforce, Magento/ Hybris, AEM etc.
+ Experience with to ERP (SAP) and end to end processes in Order Management, Pricing, Finance
+ Exposure to composable commerce architecture, headless architecture, React Apps, Headless CMS etc.
+ Exposure to platforms like Marketo, PROS, DAM, PIM etc.
+ Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar) are a plus.
+ Experience with Architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Abacus, ServiceNow EA etc.
