Pratt & Whitney's Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to join its team as an **Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader** for the 30K (NEO) Mechanical System project team. The IPT Leader will be responsible for part-level (Bearing compartments – bearings, seals, housings, etc.) ownership of Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) task planning and execution to ensure the IPT achieves overall component goals. This role will include direct interfacing opportunities with engineering management, program management, suppliers, and customers. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused as well as technically proficient and capable of communicating effectively to own the IPT and meet the demands of the Next Generation Product Family engine programs. Experience in design, manufacture, development, validation, entry into service, and support of field service issues.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Accountable to CIPT for part-level ownership, including communication, risk management, and execution of program requirements.
+ Lead the IPT in the management and closure of key technical risks/issues.
+ Lead the IPT through successful technical and program reviews
+ Lead IPT budgets and schedule to program requirements
+ Lead IPT technical and business metrics to requirements.
+ Participate in Customer, SIPT (System Integrated Product Team), IPMT (Integrated Program Management Team), and Senior Management interaction and presentations.
+ Provide technical support for validation engine build and engine test activities.
+ Travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or in the Aviation industry; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or in the Aviation industry.
+ U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
+ Aerospace or Turbofan Engine industry experience.
+ Basic understanding of Pratt & Whitney’s Leadership Operating Model (LOM) or similar.
+ Organizational and project management skills (PMP certification preferred).
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in strategic projects and initiatives.
+ Resourcefulness with the ability to find solutions and solve complex problems (both vendor- and customer-facing).
+ Continuous Improvement experience, and/or LEAN, CORE, ACE, Six-Sigma training.
+ Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
+ Utilization of Microsoft Office, Solumina, SAP, Teamcenter, etc.

**Department/Segment Overview:**
+ **Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN)** : The Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering organization is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings, gears, and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.

+ Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
_Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility._
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
