• Monitor licensing compliance, identify misuse or orphaned allocations, and enforce policies to reduce waste

Collaboration Governance

• Establish naming conventions, access control models, and sprawl mitigation techniques across workloads
• Support governance automation using Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, and compliance tools like Microsoft Purview
• Participate in change advisory boards and governance councils to align IT strategy with business needs

Documentation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Maintain detailed technical documentation, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with Identity, Security, Compliance, and Network teams to ensure platform health, integration success, and policy enforcement
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments in large-scale, enterprise settings
• Proven expertise in Exchange Online, including mail flow management, transport rules, retention, archiving, and eDiscovery
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration, including site collections, permissions, and content lifecycle
• Demonstrated success in implementing and managing M365 license governance, optimization models, and reporting
• Excellent communication, project planning, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-700, MS-100, MS-101, or SC-300
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and Defender for Office 365
• Experience with hybrid Exchange environments or tenant-to-tenant transitions
• Exposure to compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR in relation to Microsoft 365
