What You Will Do

Support the monthly closing process including journals, analysis and reporting

Prepare external and internal financial deliverables and required monthly financial reporting for various program and company reporting requirements

Partner with the site controller and various functions (Contracts, Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Customer, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) to prepare monthly Risk and Opportunity position

Support program(s) monthly forecast for bookings, sales, earnings and cash forecast

Oversee and analyze cost expenditures and purchases within the organization

Support monthly preparation/submission of forecast and annual plan cycle

Report monthly variance analysis of actuals vs. Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast

Provide support to business reviews

Analyze and upload production hours

Support inventory reporting, cycle counts, and E&O reviews

Ad-hoc request support in a fast-paced environment

Support SOX / internal control procedures

What You Will Learn

Gain hands-on experience in supporting the monthly closing process, from journal entries to financial analysis and reporting.

How to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize spending, and contribute to overall profitability.

How to forecast future financial performance, set strategic goals, and align financial resources with organizational objectives.

Qualifications You MUST Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience

MS Excel skills and experience working with and developing excel financial models

Experience with financial reports, P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and statistical analysis for accuracy

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with an ERP system (SAP Preferred) and OneStream / Hyperion

Knowledge of rates and burdening process, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Cost Accounting

Detail oriented with ability to perform accurate, high volume data analysis

Good communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management/staff on sensitive issues

Process orientated with strong organizational skills

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
