To bring the voice of customer to the project throughout the lifecycle with special focus to the development process, to meet the expected deliveries, field, service and initial quality targets.Management of Quality Assurance as a process owner in a project, reporting to Quality Assurance Management (independent from the project) and dotted line to the VP, SBU.To ensure ASPICE L2 compliance for the project, acting as single POC for all process areas and working with the Engineering teams to take NC’s to closure.Responsible for process tailoring for the project to keep it lean and efficient. Strives to identify the right process balance to reflect the overall complexity of a Connectivity SBU project and customer requirements.Acts as a partner to the engineering team in the process adherence journey. Performs monthly tools-based audit once the process framework is established to help the team identify the gaps and enables the fixes.Provides forward-looking metrics, analytics and insights along with PSR Report for the engineering team. Enables the team to be data-driven in project execution.
What You Will Do
Authority:
Decide on process tailoring following the PM and PMO guidance (including the MGTL, QA plan / Strategy, PSR, and PM&C, etc.).Prevent a release of software that does not meet requirements through Release Readiness Review (RRR & IRRR) and risk assessment.Approval of tailoring of the Harman BMS standards (i.e. Engineering & Supporting processes) based on customer quality requirements.Raise project risks when major/critical gaps are foreseen via quality reviews/checks.Raise projects issues or escalations when major/critical problems are identified via quality reviews/checks.Accountability:
Driving the QA process implementation within the Project.Providing QA status report and summary information to PM and Team 1, as needed.Support and/or drive internal and external escalations until resolution of the identified problem.ASPICE L2 ComplianceDriving ASPICE initiatives within the program.What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.10+ years of experience in the field of Software QualityProven record of successful implementation of ASPICE L2 for multiple programsExperience with Project Management and familiar with QMS.Experience with technical areas (HW, SW, ME, System, etc.).Capability to evaluate complex systems.Experience in project and quality assurance.Knowledge of risk management methodologies.Decision making and problem-solving skills.Experienced with Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies (e.g. Process models Automotive SPICE).Thorough Knowledge and understanding of the Quality Management System (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001, CMMI, etc).Strong Communication and moderation skills.Strong negotiation skills and a drive for first-time quality.Bonus Points if You Have
B.E. degree with specialization in Computer Science or Electronics and Telecommunication.ASPICE Provisional Assessor or well-versed with the standardWhat Makes You Eligible
