About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and technically strong Senior / Principal Engineer to lead end-to-end software architecture and development efforts for a multi-billion dollar company specializing in Aviation domain. Headquartered in US, the organization has a state-of-the-art Software Development facility in Pune doing innovation in a niche field, and offers challenging project to work along side a strong development team and provides a great career roadmap.
What You’ll Do
You will lead the design and development of distributed, cloud-native, and performance-critical applications. This includes architecting backend services in Go, Java, C#, or C++, building reliable CI/CD pipelines, and driving Linux-based development with strong networking expertise (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC, WebSockets). You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals, mentor engineers, and ensure best practices in DevOps, automation, and observability.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of software engineering experience with proven technical leadership. Strong expertise in Linux-based development, system programming, and performance tuning. Hands-on proficiency in Golang & Python with ability to work on performance-critical C++ codebases. Experience with distributed systems, networking protocols, and scalable backend services. Proficiency in AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudTrail). Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and modern DevOps. Strong experience in software architecture and system design Strong communication and mentoring skills to guide teams and align stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Edge Computing or IoT platforms. Experience with real-time data processing, AI/ML, or file transfer services (Aspera, Signiant).
