Principal Engineer - Energy and Microclimate Advisory

+ Manage multiple projects concurrently to deliver energy efficient and sustainable consulting services to clients.
+ Conduct detailed building energy modeling simulations using industry-specific software to evaluate and optimize building energy performance, including HVAC systems, lighting, solar shading, and renewable energy options.
+ Analyse building physics data, including thermal and indoor environmental quality measurements, to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhanced building performance.
+ Prepare high quality technical reports, presentations, and recommendations to communicate findings and proposed strategies to clients and project stakeholders effectively.
+ Provide expert advice on sustainability best practices, including renewable energy, energy efficiency.
+ Lead and manage client meetings, presentations, deliverables, report submissions and resource planning.
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, building physics, energy engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
+ 10-15 years of strong experience working in a similar role involving building energy modeling, performance simulations, and building physics analysis.
+ Proficiency in industry-specific software, such as Rhino, Envimet, IES VE (Mandatory)
+ Strong knowledge of building physics principles, energy codes, and sustainability standards.
+ Experience with energy-efficient design strategies, including strong knowledge on MEP system optimization, renewable energy technologies, natural ventilation, and daylighting.
+ Familiarity with sustainability certifications, such as LEED, WELL, or BREEAM, and their requirements.
+ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability with flexible mindset
+ Experience of working on multiple projects, simultaneously.
